Microblading

This technique implants pigment under the top layer of skin utilizing a very fine microblading needle to mimic the look of natural hair strokes and is ideal for those who desire a natural look but want to enhance their natural brows. This service is recommended for clients who have some brow hair, but their brows may be sparse in some areas. Results can last 1-2 years, but is not recommended for those with excessively oily skin. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements. The service does not start until you approve the brow shape.

Disclaimer: Not everyone’s hairstoke brows can heal clean and crisp. Hairstrokes for oilier skin types tend to heal more solid and powdery while drier skin types tend to heal more crisp and defined. Those who bleed more may need more frequent touchups as the fluid pushes the pigment out while performing the service.

Hyperrealistic Nano Brows

The Nanobrows technique gives a hair stoke look (similar to microblading) but instead of using a blade like microblading, it’s done using a machine and a single needle to draw hair strokes. The device pierces the skin, leaving pigment behind. The way the pigment is implanted into the skin, can result in a more feathered and hyper-realistic finish. Because of the needle's flexibility and thinness, it causes very little trauma to the skin. Making it more suitable for most skin types, but especially clients with thick or oily skin, that are not good candidates for microblading, and want a natural looking brow. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements. The service does not start until you approve the brow shape.

Ombre Powder Brows

Ombre brows are also known as Powdered or Shaded Brows. This technique is recommended for clients with oily skin or someone who wants a more defined brow. Ombre is a two tone effect, achieved with a stronger deeper color in the tail with a softer, lighter color in the front of the brow. The intensity and saturation of the color is buildable, meaning we can create them to be very subtle & natural or very defined & bold, depending on your preference. A great look for clients who have had permanent eyebrow procedures in the past and clients who want more depth and shape in their brows. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements. The service does not start until you approve the brow shape.

Combination Brows

The combination brow is a combination of Microblading or Nano Strokes and shading (Ombre Powder). This look is ideal for those who desire a penciled-in shaded brow that won't need much daily maintence. This technique implants hair strokes in the front of the brow and will gradually fade into a darker, more defined brow on the arch & tails, but still retains a natural finish when healed. This technique is recommended for those who have oily skin and is also ideal for those have brow hair but want to give them shape. This service is also recommended for those with little to no hair at all. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements. The service does not start until you approve the brow shape.

Who's not a good candidate?

To ensure best results, make sure your health is in good condition.
72 hours before and after your appointment: avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen.
One week before: stop taking the following supplements (Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Magnesium, Gingko Biloba, St. Johns Wort) as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.
The day of your appointment: avoid caffeine, coffee, and exercise. Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid water on your eyebrows for several days.

How do I prepare before my appointment?

NO EXERCISE OR SWEATING : 2 WEEKS AFTER.
Exercise increases the heart rate and expands pores and produces sweat. All effects promote a loss of color retention. So for best results please avoid for 12-14 days following your procedure.

NO SUN EXPOSURE OR TANNING : 2 MONTHS
Please do not tan for one month prior and for one month following the procedure. Tanning is detrimental to the procedure. No exfoliants or hard scrubbing for 2 months, because even though the skin is healed on the outside, it is still healing on the inside. Do not disturb the healing process.

NO DIRTY WORK & NO TOUCHING OR SCRUBBING : 2 WEEKS
Lawn mowing, gardening, etc should wait until outer healing is complete. Keep your HANDS OFF!! Touching your tattoo could introduce bacteria into the open area which could cause an infection.

NO MAKEUP, LOTIONS, SOAP, WATER : 2 WEEKS NO CHEATING or it could result in an infection and loss of color.

SLEEP ELEVATED or PROPPED UP : 1 WEEK
If you sleep on the treated area, you will lose color and also stain your sheets. So prevention is important. You may find that a travel neck pillow comes in quite handy after permanent makeup.

NO NORMAL SHOWERING & SWIMMING : 2 WEEKS
Please understand that chlorinated and salt water will discolor and/or totally remove your pigment. You should do your best to take a bath with lukewarm water NOT HOT WATER, the steam of the hot water will promote color loss. I have found it easiest to take a bath and avoid your face area completely. After your bath, wash the lower part of your face as normal, avoiding your forehead. Use a damp cotton round or wash cloth and carefully wet your forehead. Put face wash on the round and carefully remove dirt and oil. It is best to face directly down at the sink so the water/facewash doesn't run down onto your tattoo.

NEVER EVER EVER PICK, PEEL, RUB, SCRATCH, OR PULL ON SKIN THAT IS FLAKING OFF. YOU SHOULD ALLOW IT TO HEAL, AND FALL OFF NATURALLY.
