No experience required to enroll in beginner classes.
Students must be 18 years or older to attend a class.
You must complete a blood borne pathogens online course before class.

At Perfect 10 Academy, we keep our classes small and intimate to allow for plenty of one-on-one time with your educators.
Classes range from 2-4 students.
Classes with 3-4 students will receive a second educator to ensure all students have plenty of one-on-one time.
All beginner and advanced trainings include a live model practice portion where students will be able to apply their new knowledge and skill on a real client. Students will be closely supervised and guided by an instructor during this portion.
A certification is different from a license.
As a training academy, we provide students with a certificate of completion to demonstrate that you have taken the course and you have the knowledge to perform the service. However, we are not allowed to provide you with a license. Only your local health department is allowed to provide you with a license that will allow you to legally perform the service.
In Texas, you will need a tattoo license in order to legally perform the service. In order to obtain the license here is what you need:

- Establish a place that you will be servicing clients at whether it be a salon, salon suite, room rental or bed rental. You will need this address on your tattoo license application.
- Fill out a Tattoo Application form and submit it to the health department. You will need your ID and to pay a registration fee ($927). Once you complete the form, the health department will contact you to schedule an inspection of your location and you will receive your license in the mail!
